As our future Production Planning Specialist, you will play key role in ensuring continuous and on-time execution of production orders by balancing manufacturing capacity, optimizing resource planning (headcount and infrastructure), maintaining operational scheduling, and driving the automation and development of advanced planning tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE OF DUTIES

1. Strategic and Long-Term Planning (Capacity Planning / Demand)

·  Evaluating production feasibility against incoming demand forecasts.

· Balancing work center and production line workloads across medium- and long-term horizons.

· Estimating and planning resource requirements:

o   Required staffing levels (headcount allocation),

o   Machinery and technical infrastructure availability.

· Independently designing, developing, and maintaining analytical tools for long-term capacity planning.

2. Operational Scheduling and Order Execution

·  Developing and updating daily/weekly production schedules.

· Accurately determining order start/completion dates and continuously monitoring workload distribution.

· Creating, releasing, and overseeing production orders for:

o   Finished goods / equipment,

o   Spare parts.

· Identifying operational bottlenecks and proactively responding to shop-floor disruptions.

3. Continuous Improvement and Tool Automation

· Actively identifying and implementing solutions to enhance system efficiency within the ERP environment (SAP).

· Automating recurring tasks, including production order processing and execution.

· Developing innovative planning methodologies and building decision-support reports (MS Excel, Power Query, Power BI).

4. Internal Communication and Production Floor Collaboration

· Daily close collaboration with Production Line Leaders – providing operational and analytical support to execute the production plan.

· Collaborating with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure component availability aligned with the schedule.

5. Customer Alignment and Demand Management

· Evaluating the feasibility of ad-hoc and custom customer inquiries by verifying real-time capacity ( Capacity to Promise ).

· Confirming dependable delivery lead times and managing dynamic order priorities.

6. Executive Reporting and Data Presentation

· Preparing structured reports and executive presentations for Senior Management and direct leadership.

· Presenting data and actionable insights regarding:

o   Current and forecasted line utilization,

o   Available manufacturing capacity and operational risks,

o   Line performance metrics, outputs, and KPI delivery.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

Technical and System Skills:

· Proven experience as a Production Planning Specialist within a manufacturing environment.

· Strong working knowledge of  SAP ERP  (specifically production and material management modules: PP / MM).

· Advanced proficiency in  MS Excel  (advanced formulas, data modeling, Pivot Tables).

· Data analysis tools preferred / desired:  Power BI ,  Power Query

· Higher education degree (technical, engineering, production management, or logistics background preferred).

Analytical and Technical Aptitude:

· Strong technical mindset and problem-solving capability.

· High analytical competence – ability to process large datasets, extract insights, and translate data into operational decisions.

Soft Skills and Communication:

· Interpersonal and communication skills (ability to communicate effectively across all levels, from shop-floor operators to clients and executive management).

· Demonstrated ability to synthesize and present complex data clearly and persuasively to leadership and the Board.

· Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
