Since then, we have evolved to become one of the industry leaders in the design, development and manufacture of pressure duct systems, flexible joints and insulation for highly regulated industries. Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter to join our aerospace manufacturing team. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in manufacturing precision components and assemblies that meet the highest quality and safety standards required by the aerospace industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, job cards, kitting lists, and work instructions to ensure products are manufactured to specification.
- Use a range of hand tools, machinery, and production equipment to cut, form, machine, shape, and size components.
- Operate specialist tooling and machinery to resistance weld and join materials in accordance with engineering requirements.
- Carry out in-process inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Accurately record measurements and complete job card documentation to confirm work has been completed to the required standard.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and housekeeping within the production environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and customer requirements.

Qualifications

We are seeking a hands-on individual who has experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment and is comfortable using manufacturing jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids. You will be confident in operating production tooling, machinery, and a variety of hand tools, with previous experience gained in a fitting, assembly, fabrication, or production role. A practical approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are essential.

Minimum of 3 Level 2 qualifications , including:

- Maths
- English
- One other qualification

Contract Information: Monday - Thursday (36hrs)  £17.42 p/h
