Role Overview

Lead the strategy, engineering, modernization, and delivery of technology supporting global Fixed Income Cash Investment Management. This role partners with portfolio managers, traders, credit, risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams to build resilient, scalable platforms for liquidity management, portfolio construction, repo, trade workflows, controls, and reporting.

The successful candidate will combine Fixed Income / Cash investment domain knowledge with strong product engineering leadership to simplify the application landscape, improve real-time cash visibility, automate manual workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

What You Will Do

- Own the roadmap and technical direction for Fixed Income Cash Investment Management platforms across liquidity, portfolio construction, credit exposure, repo, trading, compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Lead modernization through cloud adoption, APIs, event-driven services, shared data products, resilient engineering, and thoughtful build-versus-buy decisions.
- Automate cash-flow aggregation, forecasting, limit checks, order creation, allocations, reconciliation, exception handling, and controls.
- Deliver trusted, near-real-time views of cash, positions, maturities, exposures, limits, and pending orders.
- Apply AI and machine learning responsibly to decision support, alerts, anomaly detection, and workflow productivity.
- Lead global engineering teams and oversee architecture, development, testing, releases, production support, resilience, and vendor delivery.
- Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to prioritize investments, manage risk, and communicate outcomes.

- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage strategic partners, and translate investment needs into an executable technology roadmap.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep understanding of portfolio management workflows and front-office investment platforms.
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering and technology leadership experience within Asset Management, Financial Services, Capital Markets, or related industries.
- Proven track record leading large-scale engineering organizations and complex platform transformation programs.
- Strong hands-on software engineering background with prior development experience in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Scala, or similar enterprise technologies.
- Experience designing, building, and operating enterprise-scale software platforms and distributed systems.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams across software engineering, architecture, quality engineering, platform engineering, and production support functions.
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute technology strategy while partnering effectively with senior business leaders.

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $202,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
