The Lead Analyst, Demand Planning (Hybrid) is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality consensus demand plans for the organization by leveraging statistical analysis with the best available cross-functional inputs and applying sound judgment based on knowledge of the business. This role is supporting the Medical Division. You will partner with local or regional Sales, Marketing, and Finance partners as well as product launch and integrated business planning (IBP) teams to reconcile business objectives and strategies to support the creation of the final consensus demand plan. You will be responsible for multiple segments of the business and asked to lead key activities for the Demand Planning function. This is a hybrid role. We are seeking a candidate in Portage, MI or the surrounding area. The employee is expected to be physically present this Stryker location 3 days per week and has the flexibility to work from home.
Shape the future of demand planning by developing demand forecasts that directly influence inventory strategy, customer service levels, and business performance across a global medical technology organization.
- Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership , partnering with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to translate data into actionable business decisions.
- Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process , driving alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans while influencing key business outcomes.
- Transform complex data into strategic insights by leveraging forecasting analytics, market trends, product lifecycle data, and business intelligence tools to identify opportunities and risks.
- Drive measurable business results through improved forecast accuracy, reduced forecast bias, proactive risk management, and continuous process optimization.
- Play a critical role in new product launches , ensuring demand plans support successful commercialization, product transitions, and portfolio growth initiatives.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement by leading supply chain process enhancements, implementing best practices, and supporting system and technology advancements.
- Influence enterprise-wide decision making by providing executive-level recommendations, communicating key assumptions and risks, and helping leaders make informed strategic investments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 years of work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of business experience in: Supply Chain, Demand Management/Forecasting, Sales, Sales Operations/Planning, Finance/Accounting, or Marketing
- APICS accredited or professional supply chain accreditation
- Business experience in the medical device or related industry
- Prior experience with demand planning tools like SAP, SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, Demand Solutions or i2
- Statistical background
- Cross-functional experience in related fields
USN : $77,700 - $129,500 USD Annual
Travel Percentage: 10%
