Responsibilities
- Teach three Middle and Upper School Visual Arts classes, including general art, printmaking, and sculpture.
- Other duties and responsibilities in Middle and Upper School
- Share in the responsibilities for maintaining the ceramics studio.
- Participate in department-wide initiatives addressing equity, pedagogy, and curriculum.
- Cultivate and maintain a classroom culture of openness, mutual respect, kindness, and inquiry.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Has sustained experience teaching visual arts to middle and/or upper school students in a range of media.
- Enjoys working with middle and upper school students and participating in school life.
- Approaches work with optimism, energy, kindness, and a sense of humor.
- Demonstrates cultural competency and actively engages with and learns from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Values collaboration as essential for professional growth and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has a master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
