OVERVIEW:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Data Governance & Reporting

- Lead the design, implementation, execution, and monitoring of sustainability and non-financial reporting, including governance processes, control documentation, evidence requirements, and assurance readiness.
- Partners with internal stakeholders to establish data ownership, process documentation, scalable and automated reporting solutions.
- Designs continuous process improvement efforts and supports data automation to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.

GHG Data Collection & Validation

- Manage global collection, validation, consolidation, and reporting of Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions data and other sustainability metrics.
- Owns and maintains the Greenhouse Gas Inventory Management Plan and provides technical guidance on evolving GHG Protocol requirements.

Sustainability Analytics & Strategic Insights

- Serves as a thought leader to evolve sustainability data for better enterprise reporting and strategic decision making, including tracking Scope 2 (renewable electricity) quality criteria or capturing emissions reductions aligned to business strategies like energy efficiency or end of life initiatives.

External Reporting & Advisory Management

- Manages third-party advisory firms and consultants to develop new enterprise sustainability expertise for the department, for example completes an EU Taxonomy eligibility and alignment assessment and develops annual reporting process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or Business
- 5 - 7 Years of experience
- Sustainability reporting and ESG programs
- Internal controls and assurance readiness
- Data governance and regulatory reporting
- Greenhouse gas accounting and environmental reporting
- Cross-functional stakeholder management within complex or global organizations
- Sustainability Assurance or Financial Controls (SOX)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Databricks and enterprise data platforms
- Microsoft Power BI
- ERP systems
- Sustainability reporting (CSRD, SASB, SBTi, EINF, ISSB)
- International Sustainability requirements
- GHG Protocol Standards
- EPR reporting
