About this role

Webshare is an enterprise-grade proxy platform delivering fast, self-service access to over 80 million global IPs across 195 countries. Built for extreme reliability with 99.97% network uptime, it enables tens of thousands of businesses worldwide to run large-scale web scraping, market research, and automated data collection through dev-friendly APIs.

The team waiting for you:

Our Infrastructure Team is responsible for operating a highly robust platform running across Google Cloud and bare-metal environments that processes massive volumes of web data daily. In this role, you will add immense value by managing Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure as code, and deployment automation to ensure continuous service reliability. As our large-scale distributed workloads continue to expand, this is a critical time to join us in scaling and refining our underlying systems. Ultimately, you will tackle the core challenge of providing rock-solid stability and performance for our infrastructure, all while receiving continuous mentorship and growth opportunities within the team.

In this role, you’ll:

- Operate and troubleshoot GKE and k8s clusters, actively managing everything from node health and networking to application deployments.

- Provision and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.

- Build and improve Helm charts, Argo CD ApplicationSets, and GitHub Actions workflows for seamless delivery.

- Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, and health checks, and execute safe changes with clear validation and rollback plans.

- Enforce secure access to GCP services, secrets, and container registries, maintaining a security-first approach to production changes.

- Work directly with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve the overall stability and performance of our systems.

Your skills & experience:

- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes workloads, backed by solid fundamentals in Linux servers, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and TLS.

- Practical experience managing infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, including reviewing infrastructure plans and managing changes across environments.

- Proficiency with Helm, Git-based delivery, and Docker container build pipelines, along with confidence in writing Bash and Python scripts.

- Working knowledge of GCP—particularly GKE, IAM, and Secret Manager - paired with a security-conscious approach to credentials and access permissions.

- Clear communication skills during code reviews and incidents, demonstrating the ability to investigate unfamiliar systems and explain technical trade-offs.

Nice to have:

- Experience with large-scale, multi-cluster systems.

- Experience with web-scraping environments.

- Experience with any of the following: Cloudflare, HAProxy, ArgoCD, Linkerd, Redis, PostgreSQL, Datadog, or VictoriaMetrics.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, NodeJS, Rust, or Go.

- "Don't meet everything above? Apply anyway. We're looking for what's next, not what's already been done."

Salary & Benefits:

- Gross salary: 18 000 pln/month - 23 000 pln/gross. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.

- Growth & Learning: 40+ internal learning options, external conferences, mentorship, and year-round knowledge-sharing.

- Health & Well-being: Private health insurance, gym allowance and a wellness app.

- Celebration & Community: Team events, an overseas workation and plenty of ways to mark milestones together.
