Due to continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to join our Restructuring team within Transaction Advisory Services.
This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in restructuring, insolvency, deals or broader advisory services who enjoy solving complex commercial problems and working in a fast-paced environment where no two assignments are the same.
Our team advises directors, lenders, investors, creditors and other stakeholders across a wide range of situations, from business rescue and financial restructuring through to formal insolvency processes, investigations and asset recovery assignments. We work on high-profile engagements both in Ireland and internationally, providing exposure to a diverse range of industries, businesses and stakeholders.
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a leading role in managing engagements, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, analysing commercial and financial information, negotiating with key stakeholders and delivering practical solutions in time-critical situations.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage a broad range of restructuring, insolvency and advisory engagements across Ireland and internationally.
- Analyse complex financial, commercial and operational issues and develop practical solutions for clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in business recovery, turnaround and restructuring projects, including SCARP, examinership and other formal and informal restructuring processes.
- Manage insolvency appointments including liquidations and receiverships, overseeing all aspects of case progression and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct investigations into company affairs, transactions, asset positions and financial records.
- Work closely with directors, lenders, investors, legal advisors and other stakeholders to progress assignments and achieve commercial outcomes.
- Assess and realise tangible and intangible assets across a variety of sectors and circumstances.
- Review financial information, cash flows, forecasts, legal agreements and transaction documentation to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and review reports for clients, creditors, courts, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Manage engagement teams, ensuring work is delivered on time, to a high standard and in compliance with relevant professional and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and mentor junior team members, supporting both their technical and professional growth.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and help identify opportunities to grow client relationships and service offerings.
Skills & Experience
We are interested in candidates who are commercially minded, intellectually curious and enjoy working on challenging assignments where they can make a genuine impact. Candidates should ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- 4+ years' experience in restructuring, insolvency, transactions, corporate finance, deals, advisory or a related professional services environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to analyse complex situations and make well-reasoned decisions.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with clients, management teams and other professional advisors.
- Strong analytical, financial and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting financial information and commercial documentation.
- The ability to take ownership of engagements and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
- A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in developing and supporting junior colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
