Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday - Friday) $27.13/hr. + $1.00/hr. Shift Differential

Who we are looking for:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production and facility equipment to support safe, reliable, and continuous operations.
What you'll do:
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on production and facility equipment with an emphasis on equipment reliability, uptime, quality, and continuous improvement, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections, identify equipment deficiencies, and complete corrective repairs to improve equipment reliability and prevent unplanned downtime.
- Perform maintenance activities in accordance with established safety procedures and energy-control requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Diagnose, repair, replace, and rebuild electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and systems.
- Install, modify, and fabricate equipment, components, and systems to meet operating requirements.
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, wiring, controls, motors, drives, sensors, and related components within the scope of training and qualifications.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance, production, quality, and engineering personnel to diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Clearly document and communicate equipment status, repairs, outstanding deficiencies, and other maintenance activities during shift turnover and to appropriate leadership.
- Support plant-wide safety, quality, reliability, and production objectives through timely maintenance response and effective equipment repairs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, equipment reliability, productivity, and housekeeping.
- Other tasks as determined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
What you'll bring
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to safely use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Ability to identify equipment deficiencies and determine appropriate corrective actions
- Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with the ability and willingness to develop advanced troubleshooting and controls skills
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings
- Ability to work independently after completion of required training
- Ability to accurately document work performed, equipment deficiencies, and corrective actions in the CMMS
Preferred Requirements:
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Electrical/electronic troubleshooting experience
- PLC/HMI programming experience
- Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC experience
- Knowledge of AC/DC drives
- Knowledge in induction heating and welding equipment
- Knowledge in Servo Drive Systems
- Automated packaging systems and/or robotics experience
- 3-phase electrical experience
- Strong sense of urgency

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $27.13/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
