Originally established in 1935, we are a dynamic multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, providing a wide range of services across many industry sectors, including commercial, education, defence, residential and more.
We develop long term relationships with clients, adding value at every stage of development. We are one of a few medium-sized consultancies offering integrated design and technical expertise.
We have a nationwide presence with offices located across the UK. We plan to open further sites in the future to develop our national service.

The role…
We are currently recruiting a Graduate Architectural Technologist to join our Nottingham office.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their technical and professional skills while working on a wide range of projects across the sectors supported by the Practice. You will work closely with experienced Architectural Technologists, Architects and multidisciplinary teams, gaining practical experience in design, technical detailing and project delivery.

The selected candidate will…
- Assist with the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and other project documentation.
- Support the production and development of design information at all project stages.
- Assist in preparing planning, building regulations and other statutory applications.
- Work alongside senior team members to develop technical solutions that meet client and project requirements.
- Support the coordination of information with other consultants and disciplines.
- Assist in undertaking measured surveys of buildings and preparing survey drawings.
- Develop skills in the use of AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant software.
- Attend project meetings and assist with recording actions and project information.
- Assist with the preparation of tender and construction information.
- Support project delivery during the construction phase, including attending site visits when required.
- Assist in checking drawings and technical information issued by suppliers and subcontractors.
- Learn and apply current Building Regulations, technical standards and industry best practice.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications under guidance from senior colleagues.
- Assist with BREEAM assessments, SBEM calculations, EPCs and other sustainability-related requirements as appropriate.
- Complete tasks assigned by senior team members and contribute positively to project teams.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across all disciplines and office locations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and progression towards chartered status.
Essential skills, experience, and attributes…
- Degree in Architectural Technology.
- Desire to progress to MCIAT or working towards the professional membership.
- Experience of Revit.
- Experience of AutoCAD.
- Experience of Defence sector (desirable not essential)
