We are seeking a Verification Engineer for a fixed-term maternity leave replacement to join our team and contribute to the verification and validation of advanced patient monitoring devices, helping to deliver high-quality solutions that improve patient care.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Own the product verification strategy, including test planning, execution, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases for patient monitoring devices.
- Design, implement, review, and execute automated tests using Robot Framework and Python.
- Build and maintain test setups required for reliable and repeatable test execution.
- Investigate, analyze, and report product or system defects with clear documentation.
- Actively contribute as a member of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary agile development team.
- Work effectively within a cross‑functional, multicultural, and global environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in designing automated tests using Robot Framework and scripting languages, especially Python.
- Experience in manual verification.
- Understanding and experience with agile development processes.
- Experience using AI‑based tools or methods to improve engineering workflows.
- Self-starter mindset with strong willingness to learn, experiment, and improve processes.
- Demonstrated engineering curiosity and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
- Legally authorized to work in Finland.
Desired qualifications
- Hands-on experience on testing clinical patient monitoring products.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Motivation and interest in developing medical technology products.
- Familiarity with GE Healthcare patient monitoring products.
- Working experience with cross-cultural teams.
- Working knowledge of configuration management, defect tracking, and requirements management tools.
