What you’ll do
This is a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program (mid May to early August). As an intern with our Austin Software group, you’ll work to assist in development/testing of our underwater vehicle program doing Unity development and 3D Modeling. Additional responsibilities may include user documentation, testing and requirements gathering.
Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

Location
- Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.
REQUIRED
- BS, BA, MS or PhD candidate at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Game Development, Physics or equivalent
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience developing 3D games or apps with the Unity 3D development platform
- Experience programming in C#
- Experience with creating basic 3D models and manipulating models in Blender
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
DESIRED
- Ability to work in a high-performance team on projects with constantly shifting schedules
- Experience with C++
- Strong background in physics and in 3D graphics
Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
- Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
- Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
- Work surface is stable (flat)
