We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and relationship-driven Family Enrollment Specialist who will serve as a vital connection between the school, students, and families. This role is focused on improving student attendance, strengthening family engagement, increasing student enrollment, and ensuring all families experience exceptional customer service and care from inquiry through enrollment and beyond.

Position Summary
The Family Partner serves as the school's primary coordinator for attendance outreach, family support, enrollment activities, and customer relationship management. Working closely with the Parent Engagement & Enrollment Manager, this individual proactively engages families to improve attendance, reduce chronic absenteeism and tardiness, connects families with needed resources, supports recruitment and enrollment efforts, and ensures every family has a welcoming and positive experience with the school community.
Essential Responsibilities
Student Attendance & Family Outreach
- Monitor daily student attendance and tardiness reports.
- Identify students with excessive absences and/or tardiness
- Develop positive relationships with families to identify barriers impacting student attendance.
- Maintain documentation of attendance interventions and communications.
- Support attendance improvement plans for students identified as chronically absent.
- Collaborate with school administration and support staff to address attendance concerns.
- Make recommendations to the Manager and Associate Director for any home visits. Collaborate with other staff resources to ensure the proper support for such a visit.
- Celebrate improved attendance through positive family communication and recognition efforts.
Parent Engagement & Family Support
- Build trusting relationships with students and families through regular communication and outreach.
- Identify family needs and connect families with school, parish, and community resources.
- Assist families with accessing services related to food, housing, transportation, healthcare, uniforms, language barriers and other basic needs.
- Support the planning and implementation of family engagement events throughout the school year.
- Encourage family participation in school activities and volunteer opportunities.
- Ensure every family feels welcomed, respected, and supported every time they are in contact with a member of the Seton community.
Enrollment & Recruitment
- Serve as a key liaison for the school by promoting the mission and benefits of Catholic education.
- Assist prospective families through the inquiry, application, enrollment, and registration process.
- Conduct enrollment follow-up calls and outreach to prospective families.
- Recommend and support school recruitment initiatives including open houses, school tours, food and backpack drives, community partnerships, community events such as festivals, parish outreach, and enrollment campaigns.
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospective families to increase enrollment conversion rates.
- Assist with student retention efforts by fostering strong relationships with current families.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Maintain up to date accurate records within the school's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Document family interactions, inquiries, follow-up activities, and enrollment progress.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure timely follow-up with families.
- Generate reports to support enrollment, engagement, and attendance initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in all systems.
Administrative Support (for partners working a .6/.4 split)
- Answer phones and greet families in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Assist with student registration and record management.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and family communications.
- Support school office operations as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and family information.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma required.
- Associate degree or bachelors degree preferred.
Experience
- Experience working in a school, nonprofit, customer service, or family engagement setting preferred.
- Experience with attendance tracking, enrollment, or student information systems preferred.
- Experience working with diverse families and communities strongly preferred.
