What You Will Do :

- Conduct end-to-end onboarding and Fitness & Propriety assessments for new and existing IARs.
- Form clear, defensible risk positions - not just identify issues, but state what you believe and why.
- Confidently engage and challenge commercial stakeholders where regulatory expectations and risk appetite diverge.
- Work comfortably with incomplete information and define what “good enough” looks like in context.
- Maintain FCA-defensible documentation aligned to SUP 12, CONC, AML, and Consumer Duty requirements.
- Contribute to governance reporting and provide clear, concise risk updates to senior stakeholders.
- Spot where processes can work better and proactively improve them - while still delivering the day-to-day operational work.

What You Will Need :

- Experienced in regulated financial services risk, compliance, onboarding, or partner oversight.
- Comfortable making independent decisions and standing behind them.
- Equally happy doing detailed operational work as you are improving how it’s done.
- Energised by fast-paced, evolving environments rather than slowed down by them.
- Open to new ways of working and comfortable adapting quickly.
- Clear, pragmatic communicator who avoids jargon and can adjust tone across audiences.
- Naturally curious - you ask “why are we doing it this way?” and improve it where needed.
- High ownership mindset: you see things through rather than handing them off

What Would Be Nice To Have :

- Experience working in 1LOD risk or partner-facing compliance roles.
- Experience contributing to governance or senior reporting.
- Experience in environments that are scaling or changing quickly.
- Experience building or redesigning oversight frameworks
- Exposure to Board-level governance reporting
- Comfort working with data, and thinking how we can improve reporting.
- Experience in 1LOD risk environments

The annual salary range for this position is €26,000.00-€44,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
