About this role
Description
Amazon's Creator Services team leads creator programs that span media, commerce, and culture. We connect creators and Amazon's diverse businesses, helping bring big ideas to life across Wondery, Amazon Music, Twitch, Audible, Amazon Games, and beyond. Join us in making Amazon the home for creators.
The Sr. Business Development Manager owns end-to-end deal operations, pipeline management, and greenlight memo authorship for the Creator Services Business Development team, driving deals from intake through decision with independent judgment on prioritization and quality. This role leads external engagements with creators, agents, and managers, maintains operational relationships that support deal flow, and represents business development in cross-functional forums to ensure alignment across Finance, Business Affairs, and sales partners.
In addition to deal operations, this role carries direct responsibility for content licensing and rights acquisition. The Sr. Business Development Manager negotiates, structures, and closes licensing agreements with rights holders—including media companies, networks, artists, agents, and content distributors—securing rights to distribute digital content across Amazon's entertainment ecosystem (e.g., SVOD, TVOD, AVOD). The role partners closely with Business Affairs and Legal to interpret contractual terms and conditions, works with Finance to evaluate the economics and performance of content deals, and collaborates with Marketing and Product teams on vendor-specific promotional campaigns to maximize the value of licensed content.
