What you will do: The Medical Clerk/Administrative Assistant is a member of the Rite of Passage team and provides administrative and medical office support to the Medical and Administrative Departments. This position assists medical staff, management, and program staff with daily office operations while ensuring the efficient flow of students receiving medical services. The Medical Clerk/Administrative Assistant works collaboratively with staff and maintains a professional, organized, and supportive environment for students and employees.

- Provides administrative and clerical support to the Medical and Administrative Departments, including filing, answering phones, maintaining records, and completing routine office duties.

- Maintains the Medical Clinic in a clean, organized, and orderly manner.

- Files and maintains medical documentation and records in student medical charts in accordance with established procedures.

- Completes required reports, documentation, and administrative duties accurately and in a timely manner.

- Communicates with management regarding concerns, deficiencies, or situations that may affect the safety, health, welfare, or effective operation of the program.

- Ensures the safety, health, and welfare of students and staff at all times.

To be considered you should:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in medical assisting, healthcare administration, or office administration is preferred.

- Previous experience in a medical office, administrative, healthcare, or student services setting preferred.

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.

- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, medical professionals, and management.

- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately and timely.

- Ability to maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive demeanor at all times.

- Ability to comply with Rite of Passage policies, procedures, licensing requirements, and program standards.

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and required TB screening.

- Must be willing to complete all required training and staff development activities.
