Position Overview

Tisun Beauty is seeking a dependable, motivated, professional, and customer-focused Hair Department Sales Associate to join our team.

The Hair Department Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers with their haircare and beauty needs, maintaining an organized and well-stocked department, and creating a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate should have an interest in hair, beauty, and customer service and be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.

- Help customers locate hair products based on their individual needs and preferences.

- Provide product information and recommendations regarding haircare, wigs, extensions, braiding hair, and related products.

- Maintain strong knowledge of products, brands, and current beauty trends.

- Keep the hair department clean, organized, and properly stocked.

- Restock merchandise and maintain attractive product displays.

- Assist with merchandising and promotional displays.

- Check pricing and ensure products are properly labeled.

- Monitor department inventory and communicate low-stock or missing items to management.

- Assist customers with product questions and resolve basic concerns professionally.

- Support store sales goals by providing excellent customer service and encouraging appropriate product purchases.

- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

- Work cooperatively with other team members and assist throughout the store when needed.

- Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Previous retail, sales, customer service, or beauty industry experience preferred.

- Interest or knowledge in haircare and beauty products strongly preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused personality.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Reliable attendance and punctuality.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and organization.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift merchandise as required.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour

This is a part-time position . Scheduling will be based on store business needs and candidates with open availability. Candidates should be willing to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
