Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.
As an HR Officer , you will be part of the HR team at the Grimbergen Distribution Center and will report directly to the HR Business & Industrial Relations Partner .
You will support daily HR activities and serve as a key point of contact for employees, managers, and external partners. Thanks to your customer-oriented approach, administrative accuracy, and organizational talent, you will ensure that HR processes run efficiently and correctly. You will combine a broad administrative HR role with responsibilities in recruitment, personnel administration, employee services, and benefits.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- You are responsible for the internal recruitment of blue-collar workers.
- You support external recruitment processes and maintain contact with temporary employment agencies and other recruitment partners.
- You support the onboarding of new employees and handle the corresponding administrative follow-up.
- You manage the administrative follow-up of safety and background screenings in the context of Known Consignor requirements.
- You take care of the administrative follow-up for student workers.
Employee Services and Personnel Administration:
- You answer employee questions at the HR front desk.
- You handle various personnel administration processes for blue-collar workers, including drafting contracts and managing employee files.
- You manage the administration of company cars and other employee benefits, such as insurances.
- You take care of creating and managing access badges.
- You follow up on invoices from HR service providers and vendors.
- You support internal HR communication and administrative follow-up for personal situations, such as marriages, bereavements and other life events.
HR Processes and Support:
- You ensure the accurate processing and follow-up of personnel data across various HR systems.
- You act as a backup for various administrative HR processes, such as tracking absences in PrimeTime and eBlox HR.
- You collect and process personnel data to support HR reporting.
- You support improvement initiatives within HR processes and administrative workflows.
Requirements:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or have equivalent qualification through relevant experience.
- A first professional experience in HR, personnel administration, or recruitment is a plus.
- You have strong administrative skills and work accurately and structured.
- You are customer-oriented and gain energy from supporting employees and leaders.
- You handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- You take initiative, work proactively, and know how to set priorities.
- You can work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
- You have a good command of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and a good command of English. Knowledge of French is a plus.

Human Resources Operations : Knowledge of human resources (HR) policies, operational processes and considerations; ability to implement HR related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly.

• Identifies key policy compliance issues in HR operations.
• Discusses HR processing procedures and administration principles.
• Describes key responsibilities and scopes of the HR operations function.

Base Minimum Pay:
€48,846.12
Please note that salary is only one component of the total compensation and benefit package available at Caterpillar.
