ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Purpose:
The Brand Manager will play a critical role in executing the marketing strategy for Oncology portfolio in Libya, ensuring the development and implementation of high-quality, impactful marketing initiatives. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including HCP and Patient Marketing, Convention Planning, Promotional Speaker Training, Sales Communications, and Budget Management. The Brand Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic marketing efforts, enabling optimal patient identification and treatment across the patient journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Oncology marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives, driving patient identification, access, and treatment outcomes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful promotional initiatives and successful product launches based on scientific and market insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key external experts, and Oncology stakeholders to support brand growth.
- Lead the planning and execution of congresses, scientific meetings, speaker programs, and other educational initiatives.
- Create and manage high-quality promotional and marketing materials while ensuring compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage brand budgets, monitor ROI, and oversee vendor partnerships, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitive activity, and stakeholder insights to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Support diagnostic strategy development and optimize companion/complementary diagnostic readiness for current and future Oncology products.
- Drive capability building through training programs, speaker development, and educational activities that enhance launch readiness and product knowledge.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, governance standards, and confidentiality requirements across all marketing activities.
Job Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a managerial position within a full-time Marketing position or a Marketing assignment, in the pharmaceutical industry, within multinational companies.
- Proven track record of achievements in marketing.
- Experience in new product launches and demonstrated ability to drive successful market entries.
- A healthcare academic degree, ideally in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, pharmacy, medical degree).
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Scientific experience with the ability to engage in meaningful discussions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and industry experts.
- Demonstrated project management expertise.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Flexibility to travel as business needs require.
- Strong strategic thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and a focus on achieving results and customer satisfaction
Preferred Criteria:
- Experience in the Specialty care such as Oncology, Hematology, or Rare Diseases is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools and leveraging digital tools in brand development and execution.
