SHOP PORTER

Keep one of Miami's premier custom fabrication shops running clean and ready.

McKenzie Craft is a 25,000 sq ft custom millwork shop in Miami, FL serving high-end hospitality, retail, and luxury residential clients. We are hiring a Shop Porter to keep our facility clean, safe, and organized so our craftsmen can focus on the work.

What you will do
• Sweep, mop, and dust throughout the shop continuously during the day

• Clean bathrooms, kitchen, and break rooms and keep them in good condition

• Run daily, weekly, and closing facility checklists
• Operate forklifts and company vehicles for shop and yard logistics
• Pack, wrap, label, and load finished millwork for outbound delivery
• Pick up materials from local vendors and support shop staging
• Spot building issues and report them before they slow production

What you bring
• Available to work 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. — punctuality is a must

• Responsible and reliable; shows up on time every day
• Able to stay on your feet and keep moving throughout the shift — this role has heavy cleaning       duties; scheduled breaks are provided throughout the day

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained and certified
• Reliable and punctual; able to take direction
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass background screening

Hourly, non-exempt. Reports to the Production Foreman.

McKenzie Craft es un taller de carpintería a medida de 25,000 pies cuadrados en Miami, FL. Trabajamos con clientes de lujo en hoteles, tiendas y residencias. Buscamos un Asistente de Taller para mantener el lugar limpio, seguro y organizado para que nuestros artesanos puedan hacer su trabajo.

Lo que harás

• Barrer, trapear y limpiar el polvo en todo el taller durante el día

• Limpiar baños, cocina y cuartos de descanso

• Seguir listas de tareas diarias, semanales y de cierre

• Manejar montacargas y vehículos de la empresa según se necesite

• Empacar, envolver, etiquetar y cargar los trabajos terminados para entrega

• Recoger materiales de proveedores locales y ayudar con la organización del taller

• Estar atento a cualquier problema físico del local y reportarlo de inmediato

Lo que necesitas

• Poder trabajar de 6:30 a.m. a 3:00 p.m. — la puntualidad es indispensable

• Ser responsable y llegar a tiempo todos los días

• Tener energía para estar en movimiento toda la jornada — este trabajo tiene bastante limpieza;   hay descansos programados durante el día

• Licencia de conducir vigente y buen historial de manejo

• Experiencia con montacargas o ganas de recibir entrenamiento

• Autorizado para trabajar en los EE. UU. y dispuesto a pasar una verificación de antecedentes
