## How you create impact
As a Sea Logistics Operational Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through proactive shipment management and operational excellence. You will work closely with Customer Care Locations and teams across Canada to ensure timely execution, resolve shipment issues, communicate updates, and provide effective solutions to delays or discrepancies. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, a customer-focused mindset, and a commitment to quality service.

- Work closely with the Customer Care Location (CCL) team and communicate any shipment holds, delays, or service deviations.
- Proactively respond to and resolve service issues within established business guidelines.
- Process requests for Emergency Response Services (ERS), diversions, and Cash on Delivery (COD) collections.
- Investigate and resolve missing payments and secondary invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain and manage COD reporting and tracking.Investigate, monitor, and report shipment delays, with a particular focus on rail loading activities.
- Ensure market news, operational updates, and relevant information are communicated to the CCL team in a timely manner.
- Provide proactive shipment milestone updates and status notifications to the CCL team.
- Monitor shipment activity through Track & Trace (T&T) reports.
- Resolve customer disputes and complaints and recommend effective solutions to the CCL team.
- Support customer onboarding, account implementation, and new business transitions.
- Conduct Business Process (BP) audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate cargo insurance coverage and gather claim documentation and supporting facts when claims arise.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to Pharmaceutical and Dangerous Goods shipments.

## What we would like you to bring

- 1+ year of experience in sea logistics.
- Experience with reefer shipments is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of freight forwarding operations, carrier management, and industry regulations.
- Proficieny in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team collaboration skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
