The Technician Level 3 – Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibration, troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, and preventive maintenance of measurement and test equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. This role supports manufacturing, engineering, and quality operations by maintaining equipment performance, documenting calibration activities, identifying out-of-tolerance conditions, and implementing corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Shift: 1st Shift, Tuesday through Saturday (Start time: 5:00 AM)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

- Calibrate electronic test and measurement equipment, signal-generating devices, and related instruments according to established standards and procedures.
- Test, calibrate, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydromechanical, pressure, and indicating instruments.
- Execute calibration methodologies and procedures based on specifications, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical requirements.
- Diagnose equipment performance issues and perform repairs, component replacements, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and replace defective components on calibration and testing equipment, including pressure gauges, tension meters, and other precision instruments.
- Review, document, and maintain calibration records in accordance with applicable quality system requirements.
- Investigate out-of-tolerance conditions and support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Monitor and verify equipment quality and performance using statistical process controls and other accepted quality methodologies.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to support production objectives and equipment reliability.
- Adhere to all site safety, environmental, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment performance, calibration processes, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Requires comprehensive knowledge of systems, methodologies, tools, and processes typically acquired through relevant work experience, technical training, and/or education.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience, which may include a combination of professional experience and applicable education, training, and/or certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge and established procedures to perform assigned responsibilities effectively.
- No minimum education requirement.
- Vocational training and/or industry-recognized certifications may be required based on country-specific regulations or job requirements.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

- Associate Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Previous experience as a Calibration Technician or Instrumentation Technician.
- Experience supporting medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), including SAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, cGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 10012, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
