Scope of Position
The Manager of Diagnostic Transport will report to the Associate Director, Diagnostic Transport and oversees the education and onboarding program along with diagnostic equipment maintenance. This manager will also manage a proportional number of diagnostic transporters with additional responsibilities of supervisors within diagnostic transport.
Position Summary
The Manager ensures the safe, efficient, and patient-centered transport of patients and diagnostic equipment management throughout the hospitals within their scope. This role combines frontline operational management with education development & deployment, equipment oversight, streamlining onboarding processes, and workforce performance management to maintain high standards of service delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire : Associate’s degree in Business Management or Healthcare Management. Five years of relevant experience required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
On-going: Continued participation in required training, compliance education, and professional development as assigned.
