BUSINESS ANALYST CONSULTANT – Fidelity Health Solutions

As a Business Analyst Consultant, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. We are deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers. You will work closely with Fidelity Health Solutions  Product Managers and technology team to create, prioritize, and maintain product backlog, as well as translate business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivering business solutions with the highest customer value. The Expertise and Skills You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8 plus years Business Systems Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with demonstrable ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams
- Solid understanding of the health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development
- Shown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
- Solid grasp of the architecture and deployment needed to support Record Keeping development
- Skilled in API analysis, SQL, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool
- Creating, documenting, and leading scrum team backlog (writing user stories / acceptance criteria, supporting prioritization, running refinement sessions, etc.)
- Skilled at translating business vision into defined and prioritized user stories for team’s backlog
- Ability to understand complex customer needs, translate them into user stories with concrete acceptance criteria, and drive solution formulation with a multi-functional team
- Customer-obsessed and have demonstrated a commitment to delivering frequent, high business value features
- Excellent listening, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills
- You effectively and regularly lead, facilitate, and drive individuals and group meetings to common goals
- Certified Business Analysis Professional® (CBAP®) certification or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus
- Prior hands-on expertise working with health benefits administration experience preferred.

- Providing consulting, support, and guidance to leadership, team members, and other relevant partners to influence culture and behaviors
- You enjoy and have expertise being in both front-end and back-end healthcare application development.

- Working in a Scrum Agile environment to deliver software
- Leading and conducting business analyses to formulate and make recommendations
- Collaborate closely with business partners, development teams, external vendors, and QA on plans, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation of solutions throughout the development lifecycle
- Supporting deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, e.g., defining and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, creation and delivery of solution training to internal teams, and communication
- Prioritize multiple initiatives and business analysis tasks at the same time

The Team

The Business Analyst (BA) is a member of the broader Fidelity Health Solutions Business Analyst organization., which supports product development across multiple health care domains. The BA works on a multi-functional Agile scrum team, partnering with technology and business customers to develop and implement product and service features in health care applications from inception to delivery. Your team will focus on developing Year-round health planning, creating participant personalization, all while simplifying our site interaction to increase engagement! You will help build innovative consumer API features for Fidelity Health Benefits (FHB) platform.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
