The Housekeeping Manager leads daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness, safety, and brand standards while effectively managing associates, labor, and departmental costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, schedule, train, coach, and supervise housekeeping and laundry associates.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring department associates.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and grounds for cleanliness and brand standards.
- Manage staffing and schedules within established labor guidelines.
- Maintain inventories and order necessary housekeeping and laundry supplies.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Oversee room key controls, safety procedures, and guest privacy standards.
- Conduct department meetings and ongoing associate training.
- Maintain required logs, reports, invoices, payroll information, and departmental documentation.
- Respond professionally to guest concerns and requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

- 3+ years of housekeeping experience in hotels, lodging, hospitals, housing, or care facilities.
- 1+ year supervising at least three associates.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and guest-service skills.
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn systems such as Quore and Hotel Effectiveness.
- Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

- Ability to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, crawl, and kneel.
- Flexible availability, including weekends; periodic overnight travel may be required.
- This is an on-site position.
