A day in the life…

As a member of our Product Integrity & Quality Assurance team, you will help ensure that our factory partners meet Nordstrom’s quality, safety and regulatory standards. You’ll manage and support the data for testing and inspections, hold factories accountable to corrective action timelines, and partner closely with our third-party auditor and cross-functional stakeholders to keep our supply chain running smoothly.

- Own Factory Empowerment Program tracking, ensuring factories maintain valid test reports, uploading their inspections and maintaining valid inspector certifications.

- Manage Corrective Action Plan/Root Cause Analysis (CAP/RCA) report data, holding factories accountable for timely submission

- Manage   inspection and testing report data from OSC, maintaining accuracy to support ongoing analysis

- Manage testing results and sample shipment through to resolution

- Lead assessment of QA defects and organize internal Audits with cross functional team

- Meet regularly with Manager and Sr. Manager to review results, trends and priorities for product inspections

- Own preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) materials

- Manage daily/seasonal CPSC data sets and submission to BV

- Lead cross-functional ad hoc projects and priorities as they arise

You own this if you have…

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred

- 2+   years of experience in apparel or footwear product development and manufacturing

- Working knowledge of garment/product construction and manufacturing processes

- Familiarity with Nordstrom’s product, culture and business practices preferred

- Ability to work independently with general direction and manage competing priorities

- Strong organizational skills with experience compiling and tracking data across multiple sources

- Sound independent judgment to resolve day-to-day issues directly, knowing when to escalate to the Manager or Sr. Manager

- Comfortable holding factories and cross-functional partners accountable, following through on commitments without close oversight

- Strong problem-solving skills with adaptabilities to changing priorities.

- Aptitude to learn new processes and find trends in factory performances.

- Experiences working with overseas vendors and manufacturers

- Hands on efficiencies in MS office suite of software, FLEXPLM

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Washington: $60,500 - $96,000 annually
