Responsibilities:

- Assemble hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical portions of heavy industrial equipment according to blueprints, schematics, specifications, and established procedures.

- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and hydraulic and pneum attic schematics as applicable to work

- Understand & apply basic hydraulic principles during equipment assembly.

- Select, size, route, and install hydraulic and pneumatic hoses for the appropriate application

- Assemble valves, fittings, manifolds, and related components according to hydraulic and pneumatic schematics

- Install Mechanical parts and subassemblies while ensuring components are positioned, fitted, and assembled correctly

- Assist with equipment startup, testing, and verification

- Perform basic troubleshooting of hydraulic and mechanical circuits when systems do not operate as expected

- Recognize potential assembly or component problems and investigate or communicate the issue before it improves further through production

- Measure, inspect, and test completed work to ensure it meets established quality standards.

- Safely use and maintain your tools and other equipment required for the job

- Maintain a clean organized work area according to established procedures

- Work independently with limited supervision once trained while communicating questions or problems appropriately

- Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers and cross-train in other areas as production needs require

Qualifications

What Youll Bring to the Team

- 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power, mechanical assembly, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, mobile equipment, or a closely related field.

- Direct hands-on experience assembling, testing, or troubleshooting hydraulic or pneumatic systems, with the practical mechanical knowledge needed to work with these systems

- Experience safely and correct using common hand tools and mechanical assembly tools.

- Must own and bring a complete basic set of personal hand tools appropriate for hydraulic and mechanical assembly work

- Ability to work independently with limited supervision after appropriate training

- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a production team,

- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures

- Ability to perform repetitive or similar assembly work when required

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Ability to stand and perform hands-on work for approximately 8-10 hours during the workday

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and hydraulic or pneumatic schematics.

- Experience assembling hydraulic valves, fittings, manifolds, or related components from schematics

- Experience selecting, sizing, routing, and installing hydraulic or pneumatic hoses for the correct application

- Associate degree or technical training in fluid power, mobile mechanics, diesel/heavy equipment technology, or a related field

- Millwright or closely related industrial-mechanical experience
