THE JOB:
As a Painter at Beau Rivage, you will help keep our property looking polished, well-maintained, and guest-ready. You will perform a variety of painting, wall covering, surface preparation, and repair work throughout the property, from guest rooms and public spaces to back-of-house areas. Your attention to detail and skilled craftsmanship will play an important role in maintaining the overall appearance and integrity of the resort.

THE STARTING RATE: $23.62 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

- Perform routine to complex painting, maintenance, and repair work on painted and papered surfaces throughout the property
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching, taping, texturing, and acoustic treatments
- Apply paint and finishes using brushes, rollers, and conventional or airless spray equipment
- Install and repair wall coverings as needed
- Mix and adjust paint to achieve the proper color and finish
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned work
- Complete work orders and assignments from Dispatch or Management while maintaining accurate logbooks
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting quality and completion expectations
- Stay current on painting techniques, tools, equipment, and technical methods

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Demonstrates 3+ years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment
- Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Possesses hands-on experience with surface preparation, painting, wall covering, patching, taping, and texturing
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
