Director, Respiratory Patient Experience & Access Marketing Lead

What you will do

In this vital role, the Director, Patient Experience & Access Marketing will lead the patient experience strategy for the respiratory portfolio, connecting brand priorities with the access & reimbursement capabilities that support patients’ ability to receive prescribed therapies.

As a member of the Patient Experience Center of Excellence within Patient Access & Reimbursement (PAR), the Director will serve as the respiratory Patient Experience Lead and the primary PAR interface to the brand team. The Director will own post-script journey effectiveness and prioritization, bringing the right PAR capabilities into planning early and aligning partners around the outcomes that matter across the patient and provider experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the PAR relationship with the respiratory portfolio as the single Patient Experience Lead, integrating PAR and cross-functional partners around a shared view of the patient and provider journey.

- Lead the patient experience and access marketing strategy with brand partners, integrating Patient Support priorities into brand strategy and dynamic planning, to address patient and provider needs, access barriers, and PAR enterprise priorities

- Design future-state patient and HCP journeys for the respiratory portfolio and define service model requirements across PAR capabilities.

- Lead the Tezspire Patient Journey working team and bring Patient Support Operations, Field Capabilities, Patient Engagement & Affordability, Business Technology, and Analytics partners into brand planning and ongoing decisions with dedicated, regular collaboration.

- Chair the monthly Portfolio Journey Council; set the agenda, review journey performance and access barriers, manage the improvement pipeline, assign follow-up, and maintain clear decisions and accountabilities.

- Govern intake and prioritization of portfolio requests, assess their patient journey value with capability partners, and develop recommendations for PAR and brand prioritization and investment decisions.

- Use patient, caregiver, provider, field, payer, competitive, and operational insights to identify unmet needs and friction across the journey, including delays to therapy, and recommend measurable improvements.

- Partner with PAR Analytics and capability teams to define journey objectives, scorecard measures, and performance narratives; deliver QBRs and executive updates that connect results to decisions and actions.

- Collaborate with capability leaders to translate portfolio needs into capability roadmaps and service requirements, and monitor whether agreed solutions improve the patient and provider experience.

- Partner with the brand marketing team and PAR capabilities to shape access and reimbursement messages, materials, resources, and training needs for HCP and patient audiences aligned with portfolio strategy and the intended patient and provider experience

- Lead, coach, and develop the Patient Experience team supporting the portfolio; establish clear priorities, accountabilities, and opportunities for team members to lead work and influence across PAR.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 4 years of relevant experience

OR

Master’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience

In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in business, marketing, healthcare, public health, or a related field.

- Experience in patient access, access marketing, patient support, market access, brand marketing, or a related healthcare field.

- Experience developing patient support strategies and improving patient or HCP experiences across complex access journeys.

- Demonstrated ability to lead portfolio strategy, dynamic planning, or cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.

- Understanding of US payer dynamics, reimbursement, patient access barriers, and patient support capabilities and services.

- Experience using patient, customer, market, and operational insights to set priorities, define outcomes, and recommend action.

- Experience establishing performance measures and translating results into executive insights, recommendations, QBRs, or business reviews.

- Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams; able to influence senior leaders and partners without direct authority.

- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, strategic thinking, and change leadership skills; able to simplify complex needs into clear priorities.
- Ability to balance patient and provider needs, brand priorities, enterprise considerations

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
