# Job Description Summary
The Configuration & ECO Management Specialist owns the end-to-end Engineering Change Order (ECO) lifecycle and Bill of Materials (BOM)/Configuration Management function for an assigned product line. This role ensures seamless product transitions by managing everything from initial ECO review and cross-functional planning to production implementation and the maintenance of ongoing BOM accuracy.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
The specialist manages a diverse portfolio of technical and administrative tasks, including:
- ECO Lifecycle Management: Govern, vote on, and implement engineering changes, ensuring MBS verification and proper documentation in Corella and Smartsheet systems.
- BOM & Configuration Oversight: Maintain product structure accuracy in Corella and Oracle, manage BOM update workflows, and support serial collector and finance-related BOM requests.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate "ECO War Room" sessions to align Sourcing, Quality, Production, and Engineering on cut-in readiness and issue resolution.
- System Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary expert for the Corella system and provide training to plant Manufacturing Engineering (ME) staff.
- Operational Support: Assist Sourcing with kit accuracy and ECO interpretation; support WIP management, part activation, and Fitup/FPQ testing schedules.
- Quality & Compliance: Participate in internal audits, handle Non-Conformance Report (NCR) entries, and perform technical job package reviews.

Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong aptitude for systems management (Corella and Oracle ERP) and an understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures.
- Process Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stage workflows from planning through production implementation.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between Engineering, Sourcing, and Production teams.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to perform product structure analysis and resolve technical discrepancies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Training/Leadership: Capacity to mentor and train staff on technical processes and systems
- Bachelor's Degree or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in sourcing, engineering, or manufacturing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, engineering, or manufacturing

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
