Job Description

# Materials & Logistics Specialist
Join a team that plays a critical role in keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly. As a Materials & Logistics Specialist, you will ensure materials, inventory, and shipments move accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in attention to detail, and enjoys supporting both production and customer delivery objectives. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and ensuring products reach customers on time.
## What you'll do

- Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials while verifying quantities, documentation, and product condition.
- Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages, and overages.
- Prepare, package, label, and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
- Create and maintain shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, export documentation, and hazardous material paperwork.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs representatives.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and process returns to stock.
- Kit materials and work orders for production and international assembly sites.
- Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels and support replenishment activities.
- Maintain shipping supplies and Safety Data Sheet documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, transportation regulations, and import/export controls.

What you need

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills required .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities required .
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations required .
- Familiarity with export compliance requirements, electronic export filings, and international shipping documentation preferred .
- Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred .
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook required .
- 1-2 years of manufacturing and inventory experience required .
- High School Diploma or GED required .

Salary Range:
$50,600.00-$67,500.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
