The Commercial Executive supports the delivery of commercial and marketing initiatives in the Anguilla market, working under the direction of the Operations Manager and the Northwest Indies Commercial Team. This role helps put mobile and FTTH plans into action on the ground by gathering data, coordinating local activities, tracking progress, contributing to Anguilla’s consumer revenue, customer experience (CX) and project deliverables. It is a developmental role that offers hands-on exposure to all areas of consumer commercial work.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the commercial plan for all product sets and channels in Anguilla, under the direction of the Operations Manager and the Northwest Indies Commercial Team.
- Carry out in-market product testing for items that can't be tested outside Anguilla. Follow test scripts, record the results and report any issues.
- Gather data and prepare basic reports to support commercial analysis and go-to-market plans prepared by Marketing and the Northwest Indies Commercial Team.
- Help Marketing set up pop-up shops, including finding possible locations and coordinating logistics on the ground.
- Focus mainly on the Anguilla market and help other markets in the region when asked.
- Help with reviews to spot revenue leakage and chances to improve bundles, by pulling data and flagging unusual patterns for senior team members to review.
- Give administrative and operational support to local P&L initiatives and build product and systems knowledge over time.
- Help roll out GSM and FTTH promotional campaigns in market, and check that offers, pricing and materials are set up correctly.
- Work with the Northwest Indies Commercial Team to make sure key GSM initiatives are put in place in Anguilla on schedule.
- Work with the local sales and distribution teams to support revenue driving activities.
- Act as a day-to-day contact with Marketing, Operations and Customer Care so commercial initiatives are communicated and put in place smoothly.
- Provide data, market feedback and competitor observations for forecasting and planning led by the Northwest Indies Commercial Director.
- Keep accurate records of all commercial initiatives in the market, and update trackers and reports as the agreed process requires.
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
- High school diploma or six form completion certificates.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a telecom commercial and/or technical commercial role.
- Proven experience of working closely with both local market teams and group functions in all aspects of product development, pricing and revenue growth initiatives.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Basic understanding of the telecom industry, with a willingness to learn its practices, policies and regulations.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables and charts) and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Basic understanding of pricing, products, marketing and internal processes, or an eagerness to learn them.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to handle several tasks at once and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working with numbers and able to spot trends in data.
- Strong customer focus.
- A keen interest in sales and commercial results.
- Able to prioritize work with guidance from the line manager.

- Willing to learn how business works, with a practical approach to solving problems and the confidence to ask for help when needed.
