Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our Nashville office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with experience in white collar matters, investigations, and/or complex commercial litigation to work on sophisticated disputes and high-stakes matters across a broad range of industries. The position offers meaningful client exposure, active involvement in case strategy, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial lawyers in a collaborative and nationally respected practice.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates should have 3 to 6 years of litigation experience at a law firm, representing clients in both TN state court, as well as federal court, in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion drafting, and hearings and trial or trial preparation
- Candidates should also demonstrate outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills; as well as possess strong academic credentials from a Top 50 law school
- Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- The ideal candidate will also be highly motivated to be part of an active trial practice, demonstrate initiative, assume responsibility for client matters, and exhibit the interpersonal skills to work well as part of a large, collaborative team
- Admission to the Tennessee Bar is required
