About this role

About TensorWave

Our mission is simple: deliver seamless, secure, reliable, and resilient AI compute at scale. We've built a versatile cloud platform that eliminates infrastructure barriers, empowering builders to focus on innovation instead of fighting their stack. Because breakthrough AI should move at the speed of ideas, not infrastructure.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our Corporate IT team during a period of significant growth and infrastructure modernization. In this role, you will help design, implement, operate, and improve TensorWave’s corporate network infrastructure, with an initial focus on the modernization of our network.

This role is intended for an experienced hands-on network engineer with a strong foundation in Cisco enterprise networking. - Configure and support Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and related networking technologies.
- Support redundant Internet connectivity, high-availability network designs, WAN failover, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Configure and maintain VLANs, routing, spanning tree, link aggregation, access controls, network segmentation, and related Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
- Support enterprise authentication technologies including 802.1X, RADIUS, certificate-based authentication, and network access controls.
- Work with firewall and security teams to implement network segmentation, access policies, VPN connectivity, and security controls.
- Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and reliability and proactively identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues using network diagnostic and packet-analysis tools.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration documentation, IP addressing information, connection schedules, standards, and operating procedures.
- Participate in network changes, upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and incident response.
- Work with telecommunications carriers, technology vendors, managed service providers, and other external partners as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, scalability, security, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Share technical knowledge and networking best practices with Corporate IT team members and provide peer mentoring and technical guidance.
- Support the development of repeatable network standards that can be applied across TensorWave corporate locations.

Leadership & Collaboration

- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives
- Set clear expectations and provide feedback to support performance and development
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Operational Excellence
