Torch Technologies is seeking an Administrative Support Senior to join the the Agile Support Office is working to identify and document the technical/operational baseline for all BES programs and standardize and optimize how BES programs establish and use technical environments and supporting infrastructures to assist program teams in delivering high-confidence programs. To accomplish this task, the Agile Support Office will: (1) partner with functional sponsors, program teams and infrastructure providers to effectively analyze and deliver application environment hosting options and supporting services to meet requirements driven by the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI), and the AF Common Computing Environment (AF CCE) standards, and ultimately the needs of the warfighter; (2) Foster reuse and interoperability of technical infrastructures among applications with common infrastructure and application support service’s needs; and (3) partner with functional sponsors, program teams and infrastructure providers to effectively deliver lifecycle management tools environments and supporting services to meet program office and developmental team needs.
Second, the Agile Support Office is working to improve capability delivery efficiency and effectiveness across the BES acquisition, operations, and service missions through implementation of standard, repeatable processes. The Agile Support Office accomplishes this mission by managing the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) effort for the BES directorate and providing a centralized delivery point for all organizational processes called the BES Process Directory (BPD). This position supports AFLCMC/GBQ.
This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in
provide Administrative Support which comprises a multitude of analysis, procedural competency and process improvement strategies with increasing levels of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Staff support for the senior managers and members of the organizational staff.
• Researching and compiling information pertaining to certain projects/topics;
• Reviews CDRL packages;
• Prepares factual, clear, concise, complete and appropriately coordinated written communications;
• Ensures leadership is kept informed of all issues of interest that relate to the mission of the Directorate;
• Monitors progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.
• Provides support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events;
• Drafts documents for the approval and signature of leadership;
• Disseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization;
• Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings in support;
• Prepare background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed with IAW organizational policy which may include, but is not limited to, attendance logs, minutes and/or action items with corresponding action officers;
• Maintain scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution which may include, but is not limited to, the maintenance logs on the equipment and the corresponding instructions on equipment set up and meeting execution; and/or,
• Provide travel planning and execution support. Note: Contractor personnel may not be assigned permissions level 2-7. However, they may be appointed as a Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA) per the DODFMR, Vol 9, Chapter 2, Para. 020301(F). Contractor personnel can also be assigned permission level 4 to perform CBA reconciliation. They may not certify/approve CBA invoices and their appointment must specify this restriction.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoW.
- OR Bachelors degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoW.
- OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoW.
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance (required to start).
