Weekends and holidays are required. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Position Summary

Huntleigh USA is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Cabin Cleaners to join our team at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). This position is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing domestic and international aircraft for passenger service while maintaining compliance with company, airline, TSA, and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements.

Cabin Cleaners play a key role in ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and security. Team members may also be assigned to support other operational departments as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform vacuuming, wiping, sanitizing, trash removal, and general cleaning of aircraft interiors.

- Clean and prepare international aircraft in accordance with airline and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct thorough aircraft security searches as trained and required.

- Inspect all designated aircraft areas during each assignment.

- Remove and properly dispose of trash and debris.

- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.

- Remain alert to hazards and report safety concerns immediately.

- Follow all company, airline, TSA, and CBP policies and procedures.

- Complete incident reports for accidents, injuries, or unusual events.

- Maintain professionalism and adhere to all uniform, attendance, safety, and operational standards.

- Assist other operational departments as directed by management.

- May be tasked with supporting Passenger Assistance Services, including wheelchair services (PRM).

- May be assigned aircraft access and security-related duties as operational needs require.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies.

- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach all areas of an aircraft cabin.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced airport environment.

- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Must possess a valid government-issued photo ID.

- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Must possess valid I-9 employment eligibility documentation.

- Must be able to pass an FBI background check.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Seal.

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

- Previous airport, airline, cleaning, or customer service experience is preferred.

Work Environment

Work is performed in active airport and aircraft environments. Employees may be exposed to:

- Moving vehicles and equipment

- Cleaning chemicals and related odors

- Moderate to high noise levels

- Extreme temperatures and weather conditions

- Wet or humid environments

- Fumes, vibrations, and aircraft operations

· Aircraft cleaning experience (preferred, but not required)
