ROLE: OD/ID grind and honing using cylindrical grinding machinery for close tolerance finish.
2nd SHIFT: 3pm-11:30pm M-F, with OT opportunities

What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to:
- Stay safe each and every day!
- QUALITY - Be accurate and efficient before and throughout operation.
- Grind parts to specified dimensions.
- Read and understand blueprint drawings for specifications.
- Clean machines, tooling and part, and maintain machines.
- Set up and operate NC Grinder.
- Use hand angle grinder.
- Plan, prioritize and organize assigned tasks.
- Continuously learn and assist in improvements.
- Communicate with team, leads, management.
- Measure to ensure it's done right.
- Grow, learn, advance in skill and take on new duties.
With Quality in mind, you also bring the following:
- High School Diploma or GED and must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operation of grinder lathe.
- Basic math, geometry, and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic measurement and print-reading skills.
- Experience with precision measuring tools.
- Precision and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent manual dexterity and ability to control application tools precisely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for decision-making and problem solving.
- Excellent team skills; collaborative, open-minded, adaptable.
- Motivation to self-advance and grow within the company.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds or more.
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Repetitive movement, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
