About the Role

We are looking for a Brand Manager to join our Specialty Business Unit, encompassing Oncology, Hematology, Immunology and Neurosciences.

The Brand Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing customer-focused brand strategies and operational plans that drive growth and improve customer experiences. You will play a critical role in translating deep customer and market insights into clear strategic priorities and impactful execution.

You will work closely with local cross-functional teams, as well as IBU, HUB and Global partners, to lead the development and implementation of brand strategy and tactics. You will join a dynamic and diverse Specialty portfolio, with opportunities to contribute to both established brands and future launches.

Success in this role will require strong strategic thinking, customer focus, cross-functional leadership and learning agility, together with the ability to navigate complex and evolving markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive the strategic development and implementation of brand strategy and operational plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Develop deep customer, patient, payer and market insights to inform strategy, positioning and execution.
- Lead the customer planning and operational planning processes, working cross-functionally to establish clear priorities and deliver impactful execution.
- Create and execute customer engagement strategies across relevant channels, including omnichannel approaches, to enhance customer experience and drive brand growth.
- Partner closely with Sales, Medical, Market Access and other cross-functional partners to ensure strong alignment and execution against common objectives.
- Partner with Global, IBU and HUB teams to ensure strategic alignment and efficient use of common resources and capabilities.
- Contribute to launch readiness and launch excellence, where applicable, in close collaboration with local, regional and global teams.
- Drive innovative thinking and experimentation across the cross-functional team, identifying new ways to address customer needs and enhance the customer experience.
- Manage the commercial brand budget, ensuring effective prioritization and allocation of resources.
- Monitor brand performance, identify opportunities and risks, and adapt plans based on evolving market dynamics and business needs.
- Contribute to the continued transformation of our commercial model, helping identify and embed new capabilities and ways of working.
- Build strong external relationships and spend meaningful time engaging with customers and key stakeholders.
- Operate with high integrity and comply with Lilly policies and procedures, as well as external legal and compliance requirements.

Basic Requirements

Education and Experience

- University degree.
- Minimum 3 years of marketing-related experience.
- Experience in brand management.
- Experience with omnichannel marketing and customer engagement.
- Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to influence, partner with and engage others towards a common goal.
- Strong track record of success in marketing, medical, market access and/or sales roles, combined with strong organizational skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, including budget management, prioritization, strategic trade-offs and performance monitoring.
- Experimentation and risk-taking mindset, with a demonstrated willingness to explore new approaches to meet customer needs and enhance the customer experience.
- High learning agility and adaptability, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing and high-stakes environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead detailed and complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong digital capabilities, including proficiency with AI and relevant business tools.

Additional Skills / Preferences

- Previous experience in Hospital Care, particularly Oncology, Hematology, Immunology and/or Neurosciences, would be considered an asset.
- MBA is preferred
- Experience in launch preparation and/or launch execution is preferred.
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams and complex matrix environments.
- Demonstrated curiosity, creativity and willingness to challenge established ways of working in pursuit of better customer outcomes.
