Your Role:
The Senior Procurement Specialist drives the organization's sourcing lifecycle to optimize costs, mitigate market risks, and guarantee supply continuity. This role balances strategic category leadership with execution, managing a diverse portfolio across both direct procurement (production-critical raw materials and inventory) and indirect procurement (operational goods, software, and corporate services). The ideal candidate acts as a strategic advisor to stakeholders and builds resilient, high-performing supplier networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods
- Responsible for negotiating preferred/discount pricing or contract pricing with vendors.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve disputes or claims.
- Partners with AP to resolve vendor invoice issues.
- Partners with MSAT to drive second sourcing activities for raw materials.
- Helps with obtaining vendor documentation for RMS updates for materials.
- Drive sourcing strategies for raw materials and core engineering components to ensure milestones are being met.
- Complex Contracting: Draft and negotiating complex, multi-year Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Help drive Key Performance Metrics (KPI’s) such as cost savings/avoidance, supplier performance and reduction in procurement cycle times.
- Managing high-value corporate spend categories (e.g., Enterprise Software, Global Facilities, Professional Services) and aligning procurement with executive business goals.
- Responsible for executing and managing enterprise-wide sourcing strategies for non-production goods and services. This role focuses on optimizing corporate spend, driving structural cost reduction initiatives, and building resilient supplier frameworks across high value spend categories.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related technical field.
- 5 to 8+ years of indirect/direct corporate procurement or category management experience.
- Experience with ERP / inventory control systems required, Dynamics D365 experience preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, MCIPS, or APICS/CSCP) is highly preferred.
- cGMP experience and writing SOP’s and contracts highly preferred.
- Elite negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing multi-million-dollar annual savings.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time onsite position in Tustin, CA. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. The employee must also have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.
Compensation:
