About this role

Job Description

Just imagine shaping a simpler, more connected way to plan demand, with clear ownership, trusted planning outputs and stronger connections between commercial ambition and operational execution.

About the role

As our Senior Director, Global Demand Planning, you'll own the LEGO® demand planning capability across regions, channels and planning horizons. You'll define the future operating model, governance and capability roadmap. Working across the LEGO Group, you'll connect commercial decisions with operational execution and shape a global function at a pivotal stage of transformation.

Required Qualifications

- Led demand planning and forecasting across multiple markets or business units.

- Designed planning operating models, processes and governance frameworks.

- Delivered planning transformation through technology-enabled change.

- Shaped enterprise-level decisions using clear insights and sound judgement.

- Aligned cross-functional stakeholders around shared priorities and planning outcomes.

- Built and led teams, strengthening planning capabilities across an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

- Used advanced planning platforms, artificial intelligence-enabled forecasting or demand-sensing tools.

- Worked across supply planning, inventory, customer planning or order management.

- Applied commercial and financial insight to planning decisions.

- Led organizational change and communicated recommendations to executive stakeholders.

What you'll build

- Set the global Demand Planning vision, operating model, standards and decision principles, aligning leaders around a clear roadmap and decision rights.

- Establish performance baselines and improvement priorities for forecast accuracy, bias, transparency and planner effectiveness.

- Strengthen global governance, planning standards and cross-functional operating rhythms, enabling business-unit and market group teams to deliver strong planning outcomes.

- Lead the business direction and implementation of a major, in-flight transformation to simplify and strengthen how we plan demand globally.

- Create global consistency while preserving the market and channel insight needed for strong commercial and operational planning decisions.

- Build a connected team with clear objectives, accountability and opportunities to grow.

If you've created a common planning language, built trust between Commercial and Operations, and turned transformation work into sustained routines, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is making difficult trade-offs clear while delivering measurable outcomes.

Life on the team

You'll join Global Commercial Operations, which connects commercial ambition with operational execution. The team strengthens demand planning, order management and inventory deployment across the LEGO Group. You'll work within one global leadership community, using transparent priorities, clear accountability and direct discussion of trade-offs. Enterprise leadership, sound decision-making and cross-functional influence will help you align stakeholders. Your team leadership will build capability and develop strong leaders.

What success looks like

Over the next 12 months, you'll refine the global Demand Planning operating model and leadership accountabilities. You'll determine what’s needed to scale and strengthen performance measures and improvement routines. You'll build adoption across regions, channels and planning horizons, partnering closely with global, regional, and business-unit leaders across Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Marketing and Development, Finance, Digital, Data, Technology, Commercial Operations Performance and Global Order Management.
