You will help ensure accurate and timely trade processing and settlement, investigate exceptions, use data to monitor risk and performance, and contribute to process improvements that strengthen controls and improve the effectiveness and scalability of our global operating model.

What you will do

·       Perform and support daily global equity trade operations, including trade capture and enrichment, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, exception management, and resolution of trade, cash, and position discrepancies.

·       Investigate trade breaks and operational exceptions, assess downstream impacts, communicate findings clearly, and drive assigned issues through timely resolution.

·       Partner with Trading, Investment Operations, brokers, custodians, counterparties, and service providers to exchange information and support accurate transaction processing.

·       Use operational data to identify trends, recurring exceptions, control risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

·       Prepare and maintain operational reporting, dashboards, key performance indicators, and risk metrics using advanced Excel, Power BI, or comparable analytical tools.

·       Contribute to process improvement and automation efforts that reduce manual work, strengthen controls, standardize procedures, and improve scalability.

·       Document procedures and process changes and participate in testing, implementation, and operational readiness activities for system or business enhancements.

·       Demonstrate ownership for assigned work, manage competing priorities, communicate status and risks, and escalate issues appropriately.

I am the person Capital Group is looking for.

Basic Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Experience in financial services, investment operations, trade operations, securities operations, banking operations, account servicing, or a related operational environment.

·       Knowledge of trade lifecycle processing, settlements, cash movements, reconciliations, exception management, operational controls, and risk management practices.

·       Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, related formulas, and accurate analysis of large datasets

·       Experience developing or using reporting or dashboards in Power BI or a similar business intelligence tool to support analysis, risk monitoring, and decision-making.

·       Exceptional attention to detail and a strong risk-aware mindset, with the ability to identify potential issues, gaps, or control risks proactively.

·       Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, high-expectation environment where accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication are critical.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, assess impacts, and recommend practical solutions.

·       Process- and results-driven orientation, with experience improving, standardizing, or documenting processes to reduce operational risk and improve scalability.

·       Comfort working in an ambiguous or evolving environment, independently assessing assigned issues and collaborating across stakeholders.

·       Demonstrated ownership mentality, including accountability for outcomes, follow-through to completion, and appropriate risk escalation.

·       Excellent collaboration and written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience supporting equity trade operations, investment operations, fund accounting, custody operations, account onboarding, or brokerage operations.

·       Experience researching and resolving trade, settlement, cash, position, or other operational exceptions.

·       Experience working with brokers, custodians, counterparties, or outsourced service providers.
