## Project Overview:
Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility.

This position is subject to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) regulations at 10 CFR Part 810 (Part 810), which govern the transfer of hardware, materials, and technology to support the construction and operation of commercial nuclear power plants overseas.
## Job Summary:
Join our Talent Acquisition team and play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent to support a dynamic and growing business. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment and enjoys building strong partnerships with hiring managers and candidates alike.
In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruitment across a wide range of positions, with a particular focus on engineering, construction, technical, and project-based functions. You will develop sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines, engage passive candidates, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance.
As a trusted recruitment partner, you will work closely with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand workforce needs, provide market insights, and drive efficient hiring decisions. Success in this role requires strong sourcing capabilities, relationship-building skills, and the ability to balance high-volume hiring demands while successfully delivering talent for specialized and hard-to-fill positions.
## Major Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including talent sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, with a particular focus on hard-to-fill, niche, and specialized positions.
- Proactively identify, engage, and attract top talent through a variety of sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, CV databases, direct search techniques, and market mapping activities.
- Assess candidates against role requirements through structured interviews and comprehensive evaluations, ensuring a fair, consistent, and high-quality selection process.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professional guidance, and relationship-building throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Coordinators, Sourcing Specialists, and other team members to ensure seamless recruitment delivery and achievement of hiring objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing market intelligence, talent insights, and recruitment recommendations to hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with active and passive candidates to support future hiring needs.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, industry conferences, and other talent attraction initiatives.
- Build and maintain partnerships with professional associations, industry groups, universities, career centers, and other external stakeholders to strengthen talent pipelines and employer brand visibility.
- Develop and execute university recruiting initiatives to attract early-career talent, interns, and graduates.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and hiring pipeline performance, providing regular updates and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, sourcing effectiveness, and overall hiring outcomes.
## Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience supporting recruitment activities across Poland would be an advantage.
- Solid understanding of Polish labor law, recruitment compliance, and employment practices.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in direct sourcing, talent mapping, and engaging passive candidates through various recruitment channels.
- Track record of successfully hiring for specialized, hard-to-fill, and niche technical or professional roles.
- Knowledge of diverse sourcing strategies and recruitment channels to attract high-quality talent across the Polish market.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence hiring decisions through data-driven insights and market intelligence.
- Strong understanding of organizational structures, matrix environments, and company culture, with the ability to build effective partnerships across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple recruitment priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
## Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Full lifecycle recruitment of candidates including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing and salary negotiation for a variety of positions, complying with company policy and government regulatory guidelines.
- Analyzes resumes for relevant skills, knowledge, and qualifications, conducts screening interviews, assists managers with interviews, tests and ranks candidates, extends offers, and provides feedback to unsuccessful candidates
- Works with managers to create appropriate requisitions and ads (e.g., developing job descriptions, posting on internal and external sites, providing specifications to external recruiting agencies, etc.)
- May represent the organization at employment fairs, participate in campus recruiting activities, and/or build sourcing pipelines/networks for targeted talent pools.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both hiring managers and applicants to enhance candidate experience during the entire process
- Search and build for diverse candidate pipeline and cultivate positive relationships with both active and passive candidates
- Sourcing of passive candidates using various recruitment tools/techniques as needed
- Create and foster relationships with various professional organizations to attract and recruit niche candidates
- Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies
