The Position

Contract Operations Manager

The Opportunity:

Serves as the lead Contract Operations Single Point of Contact (SPOC) responsible for driving end-to-end agreement execution across business, technical, and legal teams. This role combines operational execution with technical strategy and organizational growth—serving as a primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Salesforce/Conga platform capabilities, ensuring data integrity across the commercial agreement lifecycle, and positioning the department for future team expansion.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Platform SME & Systems Consultation: Partner closely with Salesforce and Conga technical teams as a business Subject Matter Expert, advising on system capabilities, translating operational needs into platform enhancements, and optimizing tools.
- Contract Operations & SPOC Ownership: Act as the primary SPOC managing contract intake, cross-functional routing, redline triage, and system activations across business units.
- Team Leadership & Scale: Build foundational processes to support team growth, with the potential to supervise, direct, and mentor additional contract operations personnel as business needs scale.
- Quality & Compliance Assurance: Maintain strict pre-legal and system-level quality controls to ensure total alignment between pricing structures, service tables, and final legal agreements.
- Stakeholder & Legal Alignment: Serve as the central liaison between business leads, technical teams, external pharma partners, and legal counsel to ensure seamless document execution.

Who You Are:

- University degree, with business related degree preferred.
Business level fluency in English as well as primary business language of the site(s) supported.
- 7+ years with procurement experience in strategic sourcing, global category management, complex procurement contracting, and operational category efficiency projects.
- Solid leadership experience, extensive procurement experience and deep specific category knowledge in one or more categories.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Platform Expertise: Deep proficiency as a SME in Salesforce and Conga CLM/CPQ systems, with a track record of consulting on system enhancements.
- Operational Execution: Excellent balance of strategic systems thinking with rigorous detail control and cross-functional project management.

Location: This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Relocation benefits are not available for this role.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is $94,500 - $175,500.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
