Impact: Driving US Commercial Performance Through Actionable Analytics
- Become a commercial growth partner for the US business: Step into an analytics role within Commercial Excellence Operations to translate marketplace performance into clear actions that accelerate growth and deliver execution-focused recommendations that help the US organization improve performance-to-plan.
- Embed with US brand and commercial stakeholders, serving as a trusted analytics partner, helping convert insights into actions. Master the US performance landscape across regions, channels and brands. Analyze data to identify the drivers of business growth.
- Shape the future of US growth: Lead high-impact analytics that connect business performance, consumer and shopper behavior, route-to-market execution, and investment choices into clear recommendations aligned with US growth priorities.
- Act as a thought leader for the US Performance Management analytics in both the PDR and BSMART forums, shaping and owning data structure and visualization, capture and data analysis and recommendations to enable faster, insight-driven decisions and linking data to action, all in service of delivering annual plan targets.
- Support diagnostic workshops by enabling cross-functional teams to visually identify and prioritize drivers and barriers, then convert them into main discussion topics and actionable recommendations.
- Lead analytics for all PDCA workstreams which includes data structure and capture, data visualization for analysis, hypothesis / A-B Testing, and measuring and analyzing in-market test results to convert learnings into actionable results. Assist with the development of PDCA storytelling, using data and to share learnings across the enterprise.
- Support the deployment, ongoing adoption and enhancements of AI Tools that directly support Performance Management.
- Champion data storytelling: Translate complex data into concise, business-ready narratives for PDCA, and performance management forums. Become a key commercial influencer by building strong relationships with US Sales, Brand and S&OP, to ensure the organization has the right insights and performance visibility.
- Partner closely with the US Insights and analytics organization to ensure best practice adherence, consumer and shopper understanding to contextualize the data and ensure no “repeat work” in terms of analysis and reviews
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in commercial analytics, sales analytics, business intelligence, category insights, revenue growth management, or marketplace performance analytics, ideally in a US CPG or beverage alcohol environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to synthesize and drive business impact using multiple US data sources, including NIQ, Circana, NABCA, CGA, distributor depletion data, shipment data, retailer/scan data, account-level execution data, financial data, and internal planning tools.
- Strong understanding of US commercial drivers, including distribution, velocity, share, price/mix, promotional effectiveness, assortment, channel dynamics, retail execution, and category trends.
- Commercially curious and analytically rigorous, with the ability to connect data, field realities, customer needs, and brand priorities into practical decisions and measurable business outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI required; experience building dashboards, scorecards, executive-ready performance views, and commercial analytics tools strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of data manipulation and automation tools such as SQL, Power Query, Python, R, or similar platforms is preferred; ability to partner with technical teams to improve data pipelines and reporting quality is essential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leaders, sales teams, distributor partners, and cross-functional stakeholders through concise, insight-led storytelling.
- Able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership, prioritize across multiple business needs, manage ambiguity, and escalate issues appropriately while maintaining momentum.
- High degree of numeracy, business acumen, and attention to detail, with the ability to validate data, identify inconsistencies, and ensure confidence in decision-making outputs.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, including recurring performance reporting, ad-hoc business questions and executive updates
- US beverage alcohol experience is strongly preferred; broader CPG experience with syndicated data, retail execution, distributor management, or national account analytics is required.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Sr. Director, Commercial Excellence Operations with strong day-to-day partnership across the US Insights & Analytics team.
Location: Chicago or NYC
Salary Range - The salary range for this role, is $90,000 - 115,000k, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset.
