EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR

The Employee Experience Coordinator will be responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction, engagement, and overall experience. The role will support strategies that improve workplace culture with a focus on activities, processes, systems and programs, and ensure employees feel valued and supported throughout their employment journey. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and excited to help our employees thrive at SpaceX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with the strategy, development and execution of all Employee Experience activities & initiatives at SpaceX (including onsite events, SpaceX Communities, speaker series, and mentorship programs, etc.)

- Coordinate event logistics for holidays & business milestones (SpaceX Anniversary, Veterans Day, Halloween, etc.) including vendor coordination, setup, RSVPS and onsite execution. Travel to other sites when necessary.

- Provide administrative support for all employee gifting, anniversary and recognition programs including ordering, inventory, tracking and distribution

- Maintain and update internal communication channels (Employee Experience website, calendar, weekly newsletters, etc.) in collaboration with the Internal Communications team

- Track attendance, spend, and engagement data across programs and SpaceX locations

- Respond to employee questions and requests in a timely, professional manner

- Help evaluate current processes and implement improvements to maximize team efficiency

- Perform other related duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of professional experience in human resources, event planning, operations or employee experience/culture; OR 3+ years of experience supporting event planning, human resources or employee experience/culture

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Experience working on employee engagement initiatives

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously

- High level of self-motivation, prioritization, and strategic thinking

- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic organization with rapidly changing needs

- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications

- High level of attention to detail & commitment to quality

- Prior event planning experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed

- Up to 20% travel to other SpaceX locations

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range:
Level 1: $27.00

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
