About this role
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to fabricate, weld, and/or machine parts as required.
• Working knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, including power transmission, fluid power, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written specifications, procedures, technical drawings, and blueprints.
• Ability to understand and execute work from verbal instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with close-tolerance equipment and parts.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring and diagnostic tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, and similar equipment.
• Ability to apply basic mathematics to calculate dimensions, measurements, and equipment setups.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and following established procedures.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and prioritize maintenance needs in a manufacturing environment.
