Production Assistant (Part-time)

ABC 6 and FOX 28 has an exciting opportunity for a Part-time production assistant for Good Day Columbus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare and maintain the studio for live newscasts
- Operate teleprompter
- Keep track of broadcast cues and talent positions in studio
- Assist talent and guests with microphones and other equipment
- Move and position multiple studio cameras and set pieces
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of studio space and equipment
- Prepare and guide studio guests from standby locations to on-air interviews or segments
- Support operation of the station by assisting Engineering, News, and other departments
- Other duties as assigned

Experience:

- Previous experience in a live production environment as a support crew or a degree in a related field preferred.

Work requirements:

- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for multiple hours at a time
- Usage of ladders up to 25ft

**Availability to work early morning hours including weekends and holidays
