Position Overview
As the Revenue Growth Manager, in close collaboration with the Head of Growth, you will support revenue growth at Canada’s National Observer through marketing, outreach and business development efforts designed to drive subscriptions, fundraising, email sign-ups, institutional subscriptions and advertising sales.
Our journalism is only possible with the funding support of our subscribers, donors and advertisers. That’s where you come in. As part of the business team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial sustainability of our journalistic work.
Our marketing strategy focuses on extending the reach of our journalism to wider audiences and deepening engagement with our existing readers to drive subscriber and donor revenue. You will be responsible for coordinating, developing and executing marketing communications across our email, website, social and other digital channels that communicate the value of climate journalism to our readers and why it is worth supporting.

Responsibilities
Increasing revenue at Canada’s National Observer by driving new business and renewals, maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads and opportunities, developing and executing sales plans, preparing proposals and reports, stewarding donors and growing into a leadership role as the team expands. Handling administrative tasks as needed.
