The 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program.

What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Damaged Instrumentation Repair
- Sensor Repair - Diagnose and identify failure mode and repair if possible Pressure Transducers
- Optical Sensors
- String Potentiometers
- Rotary Encoders
- Calibration tools (i.e. Torque wrenches, TC readouts, etc.)
- Data Acquisition Interface with DAQ systems and confirm issues
- Will require simulation of Input/Outputs Document issue in detail for communication with OEM
Instrumentation Document Management
- Assist in creating processes and documentation for calibration and preventative maintenance procedures on many types of test systems and sensors
- Create electrical schematics of basic circuits and electrical systems
Assist in the update of complex electromechanical testing systems as needed
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Pursuing an Associate degree in Applied Science with a focus in Electrical Technology from a technical college
- Completed at least one year of coursework in Electrical or Instrumentation Technology
- Familiarity with DC circuits, soldering, wiring, electrical schematics, electrical diagnostics, problem-solving, and KiCad
- Strong attention to detail
