OVERVIEW:

The Senior Manager, Initiative Enablement serves as a strategic partner to the Sr. Vice President of Store Experience & Design, helping drive operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and execution of key business priorities. This role is responsible for leading high-impact initiatives, optimizing workflows, managing leadership communications, and ensuring seamless coordination across teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, influential leader who excels at turning strategy into action, removing obstacles to progress, and leveraging data-driven insights to support decision-making and advance organizational goals.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Division Operations & Enablement

- Establish and sustain consistent operating rhythms and communication cadences to support alignment and engagement across the division.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks that slow down execution, ensuring timely progress across all major efforts.
- Develop and refine workflows to improve team efficiency and collaboration.  Identify operational gaps or friction points and proactively recommend improvements.
- Support the SVP in preparing for internal and external engagements, including presentation materials, talking points, and data summaries.
- Maintain visibility across leadership team priorities, keeping track of commitments, deadlines, and deliverables.  Ensure smooth operations across the division through project tracking, progress monitoring, and timely follow-ups with stakeholders.  Proactively manage required follow up communications to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment across teams.
- Own meeting preparation, management, and follow-up across key leadership and cross-functional touchpoints, including summarizing follow up and action items
- Ensure seamless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders by removing obstacles and resolving issues proactively.
- Hold team members accountable—through influence and relationship building—without formal authority.

Strategic Partnership & Leadership Support

- Act as a strategic thought partner to the SVP, helping to prioritize initiatives, anticipate needs, and make informed decisions.
- Interpret data and results to inform strategies and generate actionable insights.
- Translate high-level goals into clear, actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board, bringing insight and perspective to leadership discussions
- Monitor the competitive landscape and trends in relevant sectors to assist in future state planning
- Conduct research, gather inputs, and synthesize data to support decision-making and planning.
- Interpret data and results to inform strategies and generate actionable insights.
- Coordinate collaboration with internal stakeholders to gain cross-functional alignment and support for new initiatives

Project & Initiative Leadership

- Lead or support cross-functional projects and workstreams on behalf of the SVP, driving momentum and clarity across multiple stakeholders.
- Serve as the central point of contact for divisional initiatives, ensuring alignment and integration across teams.
- Conduct research, gather inputs, and synthesize data to support decision-making and planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Marketing or relevant field
- 7 - 10 years of e xperience in roles such as business operations, program management, or strategy consulting, preferred
- Proven success managing cross-functional initiatives in a complex organizational environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—able to influence without authority
- Comfort with fast-paced environments and evolving priorities
- Executive presence and discretion when working with senior leaders
